Strategic Plan

The technical directions and objectives of CIGRE are presented in Strategic Plans and Action Plans. 

The Strategic Plan describes the mid to long term ambitions and goals, in line with the mission of CIGRE. It guides the planning of the activities and their coordination over a long period.

The Strategic Plan of the Technical Committee is the Master document: it analyses the Electric Power Industry and  selects the priorities in term of activities of CIGRE and its mode of operation. The present Strategic Plan was issued in 2010 and covers the period 2010-2020.
In coherence with the TC Plan, the SCs reflect their own views and ambitions in their own Plans (posted on their websites).

Action Plan

The TC Action Plan is the "road map" for the technical activities of CIGRE.

The present TC Action Plan was issued in 2004. It identifies various short term actions along main directions, called Key Actions. It is an internal document.

The SCs take it into account to produce their own Action Plans.
