Policy

CIGRE’s mission is to produce and deliver technical information. This is done through two main means: technical conferences, with papers published and discussed; work of Study Committees and production of technical reports and other documents. 

The documents which describe more specifically the organization of CIGRE events can be found on the page "Events".
The Guidelines for details about writing papers can be found on the page "Guidelines".
Which publications are available and how to get them is specified in the official document "CIGRE Technical Information" (03/2007)

The papers related to Sessions, Symposia or other events are supplied to delegates upon registration. The CD of papers for Sessions and Symposia and the CD of contributions to discussions at Sessions -"Proceedings"- are put on sale after the events.

ELECTRA is a bimonthly journal, reserved for CIGRE members. It provides information on the results or the progress of the technical activities of CIGRE, on the life of the Association and on the events organised.
