Transformator '19

The International Conference on Power Transformers “Transformer ’19” will be organized by PTPiREE (Polish Power Transmission and Distribution Association) on May 7-9, 2019 in Torun, Poland. A “Transformer Tutorial” organized jointly with CIGRE Study Committee A-2 (Transformers) will be offered to the interested participants on May 7th, 2019.

Official languages

Official languages of conference are Polish and English (simultaneous interpretation will be provided). A “Transformer Tutorial” will be offered in Polish language.

PARTICIPANTS

The Conference will attract participants from transmission and distribution companies and corporations, power plants, industrial enterprises, transformer manufacturers and repair facilities, as well as from technical universities and research centres. Presented papers will address subjects related to design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance of power transformers.

• Alternative liquid dielectric transformers
• Transformer monitoring systems, the latest trends and experiences
• Bushings, current hazards in service
• Transformer insulation systems – new solution
• Factory acceptance tests
• Transformers’ overvoltage protection
• Distribution transformers for electrical network with renewable energy sources fixed into the low voltage distribution grid (micro installations)
• Transformers working with converter systems

SUBMITTING LECTURES

Submitting a summary of proposed lecture –  January 31, 2019
Approving submitted lectures  – February 28, 2019
Submitting full texts of lectures - April 22, 2019

Persons interested in providing the lectures should send the paper title, author’s name and a brief summary by January 31, 2019 to nowinska@ptpiree.pl. After approving the lecture by the Programme Board, which will be announced by February 28, 2019, we will wait for the full text of the lectures in electronic version. Specific requirements will be communicated  directly to the authors.
