This webinar will explain the protocol for reporting operational performance of FACTS controllers, as per Technical Brochure 717.

CIGRE B4 Advisory Group AG-04 is responsible for collecting and compiling data on the reliability of FACTS, including SVC, STATCOM, and other types of FACTS controllers. Data collected for the years 2002 to 2018 was published in Technical Brochure 872 “Static Var Compensator/STATCOM performance survey results – 2017 and 2019”. Data from years 2021 and 2022 was presented at the CIGRE Montreal conference. Future data will be published every 2 years at the CIGRE International Symposia.

This webinar will be presented by Hiranya Suriyaarachchi, and registration to this webinar is free for all, CIGRE members and non-members.
